An inspectable workspace for coding agents

Warden is being prepared as a proprietary native desktop command center with release-specific documentation for its supported capabilities and platforms.

Terminal output is valuable, but it is a poor place to keep an entire operating picture. Long-running coding work mixes plans, file changes, commands, questions, approvals, and follow-up decisions. Once that story is buried in scrollback, the operator spends more time rediscovering state than directing the work.

From output stream to workspace

Warden’s working native desktop workspace is built to keep the useful parts of a coding session legible. An operator can follow active work while keeping plan progress, file and command activity, approval prompts, and cost visibility close at hand. The focus is not on replacing a terminal’s expressiveness. It is on giving the operator a durable surface for the information a terminal tends to scatter.

That changes everyday workflows. Planning can remain connected to implementation. A file-oriented question can be revisited with the surrounding session context. A command request can be judged as part of the task rather than as a line of text stripped of intent. Session records and search provide a direction for finding prior work when the next step begins tomorrow rather than five minutes from now.

A desktop view with room for judgment

Warden is designed for the moments when an operator needs to inspect, compare, and steer, whether one session is active or several are competing for attention. Provider and model choice, MCP connectivity, and hooks belong to that broader workspace story because they influence how the work is run, not just how it is displayed.

Warden is a working proprietary development build. The public binary is targeted for roughly two to three months, with supported capabilities, output views, connections, and platforms stated for that release.
